What Can This Scientific Calculator Do?

This calculator handles all standard scientific operations including trigonometric functions (sin, cos, tan and their inverses), natural and base-10 logarithms, square roots and cube roots, powers (xʸ), factorials, absolute values and the constants π and e. It also includes memory storage (MS, MR, M+, M-, MC) and a calculation history panel.

DEG, RAD and GRAD — Which Should I Use?

DEG (Degrees) — use for everyday angle calculations and most school/university problems. A full circle = 360°.

RAD (Radians) — use for calculus and higher mathematics. A full circle = 2π radians.

GRAD (Gradians) — used in some engineering and surveying contexts. A full circle = 400 gradians.

If you’re unsure use DEG — it’s the most common mode.

How to Use the Memory Functions

MS — stores the current display value to memory.

MR — recalls the stored memory value.

M+ — adds the current value to memory.

M- — subtracts the current value from memory.

MC — clears the memory.

FAQs

Scientific calculators are used for advanced maths, physics, engineering and science calculations that go beyond basic arithmetic — including trigonometry, logarithms, powers and roots.

These are trigonometric functions that describe the relationship between angles and sides in a right-angled triangle. Sin = opposite/hypotenuse, cos = adjacent/hypotenuse, tan = opposite/adjacent.

Log (log₁₀) calculates the base-10 logarithm. Ln calculates the natural logarithm (base e). Both are used in science, engineering and finance calculations.

n! is factorial — the product of all positive integers up to n. For example 5! = 5 × 4 × 3 × 2 × 1 = 120.
